Register Your Support

We are looking to gather as many individual letters as possible to be used to support our funding applications. 
Many funders are looking for a business plan showing how income will be generated from their investment in the scheme before they will provide funds. As there will be no income stream from Strathaven Castle, it is very important that we are able to show the depth and breadth of community support for conserving the castle. This is often as powerful as any business plan but we need to convince the funders that the community really wants this.
At the event in January we were blown away by the number of people who visited and signed our supporters list. this has been extremely helpful as we talk to potential funders. But as we look for bigger funds we need stronger and more persuasive indicators of public support.

You can help. Please download the letter template, either as an individual or for the organisation you represent, as appropriate. You can simply add your details and return it or you can edit it to make it more personal. Either way, email it back to us at fosc1300@gmail.com. Don’t forget to indicate your permission to share this with potential funders in the section at the bottom of the letter or we won’t be able to use it for data protection reasons.
